When visiting Beijing and wandering through little narrow streets I stumbled on a laneway that had all these little shops and galleries with historic images. They were so inspiring and I could not wait to interpret what I saw with these lovely old sketches and paintings. I could feel the history in all these drawings of times gone by in a country foreign to my own.
